Connecting two VCRs

With this connection you can:

watch TV channels and videotapes

record TV channels

record one TV channel while watching the same or another channel

record (dub/edit) from one VCR to the other VCR while watching a videotape

You will need:

two coaxial cables

two sets of standard A/V cables

Note:

Do not connect the same VCR to both the OUT and the IN connections on the TV at the same time.

To record (dub/edit) from VCR 1 to VCR 2, the TV must select VIDEO 1 (see page 16), and VCR 2 must select

LINE IN.

For better picture quality, if VCR1 has S-video, you can use an S-video cable (plus the standard audio cables) instead of the standard video cable. Do not connect a standard video cable and an S-video cable to VIDEO-1 at the same time or the picture performance will be unacceptable.
