Out of Range
äWhen the handset is in the idle mode, it will show this screen when it cannot find
the base station (Out of Range).
äIf the TALK, speaker-icon or one of the F1-F12 buttons are pr es sed but the
handset cannot establish an RF link with the base station, the handset will sound
an error tone and show the Out of Range message.
äWhile talking, if the handset cannot receive a signal from the base station for
appox. five seconds, it goes to idle mode - conversation is dropped - with an error
tone. In this case, the LCD shows the message below.
