You can use this telephone handsfree when you
install any VTech 2.5 mm he adset, purchase d
separately.
Plug the heads et into the jack located on th e left
side of the ha ndset (under the small rubber ap).
Do not force t he connection , but make sure the
plug ts securely.

Operating range

Communications Comm ission (FCC). Even so, this handset and telephone base can commu nicate
only over a certain distanc e - which can vary with the locatio ns of the telephone base and handset,
the weather, and the constructio n of your home or ofce.
If you receive a call w hile you are out of range, the handset might not ring or if it does ring, the call
might not conne ct well when you pr ess . Move closer to the telephone bas e, then press to
answer the call.
If you move out of range during a phone convers ation, you might hear noise or interference. To
improve reception, move closer t o the telephone base.
If you move out of range without pressing OFF, the phone will be left off the hook. To hang up properly,
walk back into range, periodic ally pressing OFF.
