Removal and Storage Instructions

REMOVAL

1.Park the tractor on a level surface and lower the snowblower.

WARNING

DO NOT attempt to remove the snow- blower with the tractor engine running. Disengage the PTO clutch, stop the en- gine, and remove the ignition key. Wait for all movement to stop before getting off the seat.

To prevent accidental engine starting, disconnect the fuel solenoid wire [diesel engines] or the spark plug wire(s) [gaso- line engines].

2.Remove the hitch pins from the ends of the sup- port arms.

3.Slide the PTO shaft out of the PTO coupler while sliding the snowblower off the tractor sup- port arms.

END OF SEASON STORAGE

1.Clean the snowblower thoroughly.

2.Repaint all parts where paint has worn.

NOTE: Rustproofing or painting every year will prolong the life of the snowblower compo- nents and moving parts.

3.When the snowblower is dry, lubricate all mov- ing parts. Apply lubricant liberally to all surfac- es to protect against rust.

4.Store the snowblower in a dry place.
