Paper Sel ection
One of the most important things you can do to assure the best possible
printing performance of your machine is to select the correct paper. Your
machine produces letter quality print on most plain bond papers, including
cotton bo nd and photoc o pying papers; it doe s no t requ i r e spec i al ink je t
papers. However, the print quality varies with different paper types. Be
sure to test a type of paper before you purchase a large quantity.

Paper Types

Plain Paper
The machine supports paper sizes of letter, legal, and A4 in portrait
orienta tion. You can use re gular copier pa per, cott on bon d papers , and
typical letterhead. Always use paper without curls, folds, staples, or
damage d edges.
Inkjet Paper
This paper has been developed specifically for printing with inkjet printers.
It will produce high quality documents which will compare favorably to
those produced with a laser printer.
Coated Paper
The coated pap er has be en devel o pe d for high quality pri n t i ng wit h mi ni m a l
or no smearing or running when in contact with water or damp surfaces,
making it a good c hoice f or damp or rainy e nvi ronm en ts.
Gloss y Pho to Pa per
Glossy ph oto pa pe r is a hig h gloss , thicke r paper tha t produ ces th e look and
feel of a photograph. Use this paper to produce photo-realistic prints from
your pr i nter.
