Caption/Text is a feature which allows the TV to receive the closed caption and/or text options if made available by the broadcaster.
Availability and functionality of Caption/Text features is determined only by each broadcaster and may not be available in your area.
Mini glossary
CAPTIONS The term for the words that scroll across the bottom of your TV screen; usually the audio portion of the program provided for the hearing impaired.
TEXT | The term for the words that appear in a large black frame and almost cover the entire screen; usually messages provided by the broadcaster. |
