The DIVA T/A hardware you are using may not support the message waiting indicator light. To check if the DIVA T/A you are using supports this feature, follow these steps:

1Start the terminal-emulation program (for example, Telix, HyperTerminal, or HyperAccess).

2Confirm you are connected to the DIVA T/A by typing AT and pressing Enter. The DIVA T/A should respond with “OK”.

3Type ATI20 and press Enter. The version number for your DIVA T/A hardware (800-xxx-xx) is displayed. The message waiting indicator light is only supported on the following versions of the DIVA T/A hardware:

800-214-04 or later

800-145-04 or later

If your DIVA T/A hardware supports this feature and it is still not working, check with your ISDN provider to find out if the “Message Waiting Indicator” key is set to the appropriate value. See “Feature Key Values” on page 102 for more information.
