Installing the Battery and microSD Card

NOTE It is important to fully charge the battery before initial use of the phone.

The phone comes with a rechargeable battery. Keep the battery charged while not in use in order to maximize talk, use, and standby time. The battery charge level is shown at the top of the screen.

Installing the battery

1 Press the bump on the bottom part of the cover and slide the battery cover upward to remove from the back of the phone.

2 Align the battery with the terminals near the bottom of the phone, then press the battery into place.

3 Replace the battery cover over the back of the phone (as demonstrated). Slide the battery cover downward while applying steady downward pressure until it clicks into place.

Removing the battery

Turn the power off. Remove the battery cover (as demonstrated in the previous instructions). Then use the fingertip cutout at the top of the battery compartment to lift the top edge of the battery out.
