Profile Tab

Driver and SCU: These fields display the version of the device driver and the SCU that are running on the Ikôn.

About SCU: This box provides details about the SCU software.

C.1.2 Profile Tab

The Profile tab allows you to define radio and security settings that are stored in the registry as part of the configuration profile.

The profile you create and save is listed in the Active Profile drop-down menu in the Main tab. You can define up to 20 profiles.

Radio

Attributes

Edit Profile: Used to choose the profile to be viewed or edited. If ThirdPartyConfig is chosen, after the Ikôn goes through a power cycle, WZC is used for configuration of the radio.

New: Allows you to create a new profile with default settings and assign it a name.

Rename: Allows you to assign a profile name.

Delete: Deletes the profile unless it is currently active.

Scan: Opens a new window which displays a list of available access points with their respective SSIDs, Signal Strength (RSSI value) and Security Status. Selecting an AP returns you to the profile page and populates a new profile with the information availa- ble from the scan to simplify setting up a new profile.

Radio: Lists radio attributes. These attributes can be individually chosen from this menu. When an attribute is chosen, an associated list of options is displayed where you can assign new settings or view existing settings.

Commit: Saves all changes.
