1 . Servernavn

I Options (Indstillinger) kan du angive navnet på serveren med tilslutningsoplysningerne. Serverne og skærmene er forbundet via et netværk og har deres egne entydige navne, der identificerer hinanden. For en almindelig forbindelse skal navnet på en server og en skærm passe sammen. Med andre ord:

Når en servers navn er MagicNet, er det kun skærme, hvis servernavne, der er angivet til "MagicNet", der kan tilsluttes til denne server og modtage planen. Når et servernavn ikke findes i skærmens navnesæt, venter den, indtil en server med et navn, der passer, vises. Men hvis funktionen til automatisk tilslutning er ON (TIL), vil den forsøge at tilslutte til enhver server og tilslutter til den server, der først svarer.

2.Brugerkonto

Når MagicNet installeres første gang, oprettes en administratorkonto på basis af den adgangskode, der angives af brugeren.

Ved tilføjelse af en konto kan du vælge blandt tre kontotyper, og den valgte kontotype afgør omfanget af brugen af MagicNet. Du kan modificere eller slette eksisterende brugeres konti og tilføje nye brugere.
