OPERATION

POSITION FOR STARTING

See Figure 9.

Lay the pruner on the ground and ensure that no objects or obstructions are in the immediate vicinity. Make sure nothing can come in contact with the bar and chain.

STARTING AND STOPPING

See Figures 10 - 12.

Unit should be on a flat, bare surface for starting.

nSlowly push the primer bulb 5 times.

nSet the choke lever to the FULL CHOKE position (A).

nSqueeze the throttle trigger fully. Do not release until all of the remaining steps are completed.

nPull the starter handle sharply 3 times until the engine attempts to run. Do not pull the starter handle more than 8 times.

nSet the choke lever to the HALF CHOKE position (B).

nPull the starter handle until the engine runs. Do not pull the starter handle more than 6 times.

nAllow the engine to run for 15 seconds, then set the choke lever to the RUN position (C).

TO STOP THE ENGINE:

See Figure 10.

Press and release “ ” on the engine switch to stop the engine.
