WALL-MOUNTING THE P142, P152 AND

PC250

The P142, P152 and PC250 are designed to mount directly to a wall. Each speaker has two keyholes on the back, and will require (2) 1-1/2," #10 wood screws fastened to a wall stud. If a wall stud is unavailable, install an anchor appropriate for a 1-1/2," #10 screw.

NOTE: The customer is responsible for the correct selection and use of mounting hardware (available through hardware stores) that will ensure the proper and safe wall-mounting of the speakers.

CHANGING THE P252 AND P362 FEET

The P252 and P362 feature attractive outboard feet, installed at the factory. However, if you would like to replace them with the less visible inboard feet (included), follow the instructions below.

1.Remove the four feet on the bottom of the speaker by loosening the screw in each foot. Keep the screws for later use.

2.Remove the rubber plug from each inner hole (and save for possible future use).

3.Attach the black inboard feet to the inner holes from which you just removed the rubber plugs, using the same screws you just removed.

4.Hand-tighten securely, using a handheld Phillips (+ tip) screwdriver. Do not use a powered screwdriver of any type.

Step 1.

Mark the positions on the wall where you would like to place the mounting screws.

Step 2.

Fasten two 1-1/2," #10 wood screws to the wall using the markings placed in Step 1 as your guide. Leave an 11/16" space between the wall and screwhead. If a wall stud is not available, use an appropriate anchor.

Step 3.

Place the speaker on the wall by aligning the keyholes on the back of the speaker to the screwheads on the wall. Once positioned properly, the speaker should slide down slightly and become secure.

The P142 also allows the use of third-party wall brackets using the 1/4"-20 threaded insert located beneath the keyhole mount. Consult the wall-bracket manufacturer for selection of proper bracket.ker on the wall by aligning the keyhole on the back of the speaker to the screwhead on the wall. Once positioned properly, the speaker should slide down slightly and become secure.

CAUTION: Floorstanding (tower) loudspeakers have a high center of gravity and may become unstable and tip over during earthquakes, or if rocked, tipped or improperly positioned. If this is a concern, these speakers should be anchored to the wall behind them, using the same procedures and hardware customary for anchoring bookcases and wall units. The customer is responsible for proper installation and proper selection of hardware.
