TROUBLESHOOTING TABLE

SBefore storing, drain all fuel from the unit. Start engine and allow to run until it stops.

SClean the unit before storing. Pay particu-

lar attention to the air intake area, keeping it free of debris. Use a mild detergent and sponge to clean the plastic surfaces.

SDo not store the unit or fuel in a closed area

where fuel vapors can reach sparks or an open flame from hot water heaters, electric motors or switches, furnaces, etc.

SStore in a dry area out of reach of children. CAUTION: It is important to prevent gum deposits from forming in essential fuel sys- tem parts such as the carburetor, fuel filter, fuel hose, or fuel tank during storage. Alco- hol blended fuels (called gasohol or using ethanol or methanol) can attract moisture which leads to fuel mixture separation and formation of acids during storage. Acidic gas can damage the engine.
