Always wear appropriate ear protection, eye protection and head protection.

Always use two hands when operating the chain saw.

WARNING! Contacting the guide bar tip with any object should be avoided; tip contact may cause the guide bar to move suddenly upward and backward, which may cause se- rious injury.

Measured maximum kickback value without chain brake for the bar and chain combination on the label.

WARNING: Always disconnect spark plug wire and place wire where it can- not contact spark plug to prevent accidental starting when setting up, transporting, ad- justing or making repairs except carburetor adjustments.

Because a chain saw is a high-speed wood- cutting tool, special safety precautions must be observed to reduce the risk of accidents. Careless or improper use of this tool can cause serious injury.
