Always use safety glasses. Use a face or dust mask whenever the operations may produce dust or flying particles. Wear ear protection whenever the sound level seems uncomfortable.

5.Guard against electric shock

Prevent body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces (e.g. metal railings, lamp-posts etc.). Electric safety can be further improved by using a high-sensitivity (30 mA/30 mS) residual current device (RCD).

12.Check for damaged parts

Before use, carefully check the tool and mains cable for damage. Ensure that the tool will operate properly and perform its intended function. Do not use the tool if any part is damaged or defective. Do not use the tool if the switch does not turn it on and off. Have any damaged or defective parts repaired or replaced by an authorised repair agent. Never attempt any repairs yourself. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by an authorised repair agent in order to avoid a hazard.

The Black & Decker GT series is a testament to the brand’s commitment to innovation and practicality in outdoor power tools. The models GT250, GT260, GT252, GT251, and GT259 are popular choices among homeowners and landscaping professionals alike. Each model boasts unique features and technologies that elevate them above traditional electric trimmers.

One of the standout features across the GT series is their lightweight design. Weighing in at just a few pounds, these trimmers minimize user fatigue, making them ideal for prolonged use. The telescoping shaft allows for customizable lengths, ensuring comfort for users of various heights. This adjustability enhances maneuverability, helping users navigate around flower beds, fences, and other obstacles efficiently.

The GT250 and GT260 are renowned for their dual-functionality, allowing users to not only trim but also edge with ease. This versatility means that homeowners can maintain their lawns with just one tool, making yard care simpler and more efficient. Both models utilize a bump feed system, which automatically releases more line when needed, ensuring continuous cutting without interruptions.

Also worth noting is the innovative AFS (Automatic Feed Spool) technology featured in the GT series. This feature automatically feeds line as needed, allowing for uninterrupted operation and eliminating the hassle of manually adjusting the spool. The precision cutting that AFS enables leads to cleaner edges and an overall neater appearance for lawns.

The GT251 and GT252 include a pivoting handle design that enhances control, making it easier to navigate those tricky spots. The ergonomic grip adds to the comfort, allowing users to tackle their trimming tasks without discomfort or strain. The added safety features, such as the safety guard, help to keep users protected while in operation.

Furthermore, the GT259 model stands out with its higher power capabilities, delivering a robust performance that can tackle thicker grass and tougher weeds. It features a larger cutting swath, allowing users to cover more ground in less time.

In summary, the Black & Decker GT250, GT260, GT252, GT251, and GT259 are all exceptional choices in the world of electric trimmers. With lightweight designs, innovative technologies like AFS, dual functionality, and user-friendly features, these models provide an effortless solution for lawn care, making them valuable tools in any gardener's arsenal.
