7. Steering Tie Rod

Lubricate both ends of steering tie rod with a small amount of 30 wt. motor oil from an oil can. See Figure 3.9.

8. Blade Engagement Mechanism

Using 30 wt. motor oil, lubricate the blade engagement mechanism pivot points, which are located on the R.H. underside of tractor. See Figure 3.10.

9. Park Brake Lever

Using 30 wt. motor oil, lubricate the park brake lever mechanism pivot points, which are located on the left hand underside of tractor. See Figure 3.11. mechanism with a thin coat of 30 wt. motor oil.

10.Deck Lift Mechanism

Lubricate all wear and pivot points of the deck lift

3.4ANNUALLY (END OF EACH SEASON)

Perform all maintenance as described in Section, “SERVICE - EVERY 25 OPERATING HOURS”. Also see service schedule.

3.4.1. ENGINE

1.Service engine according to engine owner's manual.

3.4.2.FUEL FILTER

1.Service fuel filter as instructed below, on COLD ENGINE ONLY!

NOTE: It may be necessary to drain the fuel tank before removing fuel filter to prevent spillage of gasoline.

2.Locate fuel filter. Remove hose clamps and fuel hoses from both sides of fuel filter. See Figure 3.12.
