Production Configurations

The Intel SE7210TP1-E product family consists of four production board skus and an integrated 1U sku known as the Intel Server Platform SR1325TP1-E. This configuration guide describes the following production board and chassis skus which are being offered as part of the SE7210TP1-E product family;

a)SE7210TP1 – Boxed board (base sku)

b)SE7210TP1SCSI – Boxed board with an additional integrated Adaptec single channel U320 controller

c)BTPBB – OEM 10-pack (base sku)

d)BTPSCSIBB – OEM board with an additional integrated Adaptec single channel U320 controller

e)SR1325TP1 – Integrated 1U server platform (See SR1325TP1-E Configuration Overview Section below for more information)

SE7210TP1-E Product Family Board Configuration Overview

This section contains information needed to order and configure a production Server Board SE7210TP1-E with a Server Chassis SC5200, SC5250-E or a third party pedestal chassis.

1.The SE7210TP1-E product family is offered in four production board configurations;

a)SE7210TP1 – Boxed board (base configuration: Parallel ATA and Serial ATA device support)

b)SE7210TP1SCSI – Boxed board base configuration with an additional integrated Adaptec single channel U320 controller

c)BTPBB – OEM 10-pack (10-pack of boards; base configuration)

d)BTPSCSIBB – OEM 10-pack (10-pack of boards; base configuration with an additional integrated Adaptec single channel U320 controller

2.The production Boxed Server Board SE7210TP1 contains the following:

a.One Intel Entry Server Board SE7210TP1 (base configuration)

b.Quick Start User Guide

c.2 CD-ROMs with Intel Server Management 5.8 software**, software drivers, configuration tools, and technical product information

d.Two Serial ATA cables

e.One floppy-drive cable

f.One ATA/66/100 hard-drive cable

g.ATX 2.01–compliant I/O shield

h.Configuration label, stickers and back-panel label

3.The production Boxed Server Board SE7210TP1SCSI contains the following in addition to the boxed SE7210TP1 listed above in section 2:

• One U320 SCSI cable

4.The Intel Entry Server Board SE7210TP1-E has been validated with the following Intel chassis:

• Intel Server Chassis SC5200 (Base Redundant Power)

• Intel Server Chassis SC5250-E

5.The Intel Entry Server Board SE7210TP1-E is also validated with a number of third party pedestal and high- density chassis. Please see the SE7210TP1-E section of support.intel.com (post launch) and the product snapshot updates (pre-launch) for the latest reference chassis list and information.

SC5250-E, SE7210TP1-E, SC5200, SR1325TP1-E specifications
