ICC Device Profiles

For hands-on color management, nine (9) ICC color profiles are included with the magicolor 5440 DL—three for each available resolu- tion (2400 x 600 dpi, 1200 x 600 dpi, and 600 x 600 dpi), one for each rendering method (Perceptual, Colorimetric, and Saturation).

2400 x 600 dpi — Perceptual

2400 x 600 dpi — Colorimetric

2400 x 600 dpi — Saturation

1200 x 600 dpi — Perceptual

1200 x 600 dpi — Colorimetric

1200 x 600 dpi — Saturation

600 x 600 dpi — Perceptual

600 x 600 dpi — Colorimetric

600 x 600 dpi — Saturation

Users printing with Windows ICM, Apple ColorSync, or through an appli- cation using ICC color matching will find the profiles helpful in adjusting color to meet their specifications. Most users of separate color matching software should choose the profiles that use Perceptual rendering.
