Troubleshooting

Q:I have followed the installation processes mentioned in this manual, the system still does not work.

A:Consult your dealer or authorized maintenance service personnel. Do not try to fix the system by yourself for it may cause additional damage to your system.

Q: There is no sound.

A:1. Check if the speaker is correctly connected to SPK jack, and make sure the speaker is also powered on.

2.Make sure the master volume control is not on mute.

3.Make sure you have the latest sound driver installed.

Q: The Microphone does not work or record.

A:1. Verify if the microphone is correctly connected to MIC jack of sound card.

2.Inspect that the volume control of “Mic” hasn`t been muted.

3.Make sure that the “Recording” setting under “Properties” of “Volume control” was correctly selected.

Q:Our Television does not have HDMI port but it does have DVI, can I use it on my ViewSonic VOT series?

A:Yes, but you will also have to use audio cables connected since DVI to DVI only transmits a video signal.

Q: How do I download a specific driver for my ViewSonic products?

A:Make sure you know the exact model of your ViewSonic products. Go to our main home page and click on the Download tab under support. Click on the specific model of ViewSonic product you have for the latest drivers.
