Using the keyboard

Your computer has a numeric keypad and function keys incorporated in its standard keyboard.

Numeric keypad

Depending on your model, your computer might come with a separate numeric keypad or function keys that could work as a numeric keypad.

B480 and B485

The keyboard has keys that can work as a 10-key numeric keypad when enabled. To enable or disable the keypad, press Fn+F8.

B580

The keyboard has a separate numeric keypad. To enable or disable the keypad, press the numeric lock key (NmLk).

Note: The numeric lock indicator is on when the numeric keypad is enabled.
