vPurchase additional services, such as support for hardware, operating systems, application programs, network setup and configuration, and custom installations.

vPurchase upgrades and extended hardware repair services.

vDownload the latest device drivers and software updates for your computer model.

Using the documentation and diagnostic programs

If you experience a problem with your computer, see Chapter 8, “Troubleshooting and diagnostics,” on page 33. For information on additional resources to help you troubleshoot your computer problem, see “Information resources” on page 47.

If you suspect a software problem, see the documentation that comes with the operating system or software program, including readme files and online help.

Most computers come with a set of diagnostic programs that you can use to help you identify hardware problems. For instructions on using the diagnostic programs, see “Diagnostic programs” on page 34.

Calling for service
