Lenovo 43N3201 Blu-ray video menus dont always work with the mouse, Go to Control Panel Autoplay

Page 28

Note: Some Blu-ray video content cannot be played at full frame rate without advanced video hardware.

Blu-ray video menus don't always work with the mouse.

This is normal. BD-J menus are controlled by the disc. Use the system keyboard to navigate the menu.

While playing a Blu-ray video, a 'Region Error' appears and the WinDVD controls do not function correctly.

This is not unusual on a region mismatch. Close WinDVD and eject the disc. Reopen WinDVD and change the region to match the disc. Re-insert the disc to play it.

The controls for 'Menu', 'Play', 'Fast forward', 'Stop', or 'Skip' are grayed out during Blu-ray playback.

This is normal. The disc is written so that you cannot use those controls at the current time.

'Copy protection error. Playback Stopped' when using WinDVD.

1.If an external display is connected, ensure that it supports Macrovision copy protection.

2.Ensure that under Windows Vista, your video driver supports the Protected Media Path.

3.Disable the analog display if only watching on the attached LCD screen.

Blu-ray Playback has poor performance in battery mode only.

The system is overheating and throttling the GPU. To solve, try one of these items:

1.Move the system to a cooler location.

2.Turn off Hardware Acceleration in WinDVD temporarily.

3.Connect the AC adapter during playback.

'DLA' errors occur when Blu-ray media is inserted, or I cannot shut down.

Uninstall Sonic Drive Letter access. That program is not compatible with the Blu-ray drive.

Windows Vista shows a red screen 'Cannot close QuickDrop.'

You missed the QuickDrop dialog that pops up when you shut down. Go back and select Yes.

After changing users in Windows Vista 64, Autoplay no longer works for DVD or Blu-ray.

This is a Windows Vista defect. To correct it:

1.Log on as the new user.

2.Go to Control Panel > Autoplay.

3.Select WinDVD for autoplay of DVD and Blu-ray media.
