Step 10. Remove the 8 screws that secure the motherboard to the chassis and slide it out as shown.

Step 11. Remove the 4 screws that secure the speaker system to the motherboard. Step 12. Detach the speaker from the chassis.

Step 13. To install the new speaker system:

a.Attach the new speaker cable to the chassis.

b.Line up the motherboard with the chassis and slide it into position. Align the holes on the motherboard with the mounting holes on the chassis and secure it to the chassis with the 8 screws.

c.Line up the new speaker system with the motherboard and secure it with the 4 screws.

d.Connect the new speaker cable to the motherboard.

Step 14. Reattach the optical drive, heat-sink, and hard disk drive to the motherboard.

Step 15. Reattach the hinge to the chassis, and reconnect the touch and LED panel cables to the motherboard.

Step 16. Reattach the base cover and secure it with the screws.
