machine is impressive. Among its many capabilities are a

1.7-second quick scan and 6-second transmission speed1. The former gets users back to work in a very short time, especially with the 50-sheet automatic document feeder; the latter can reduce your company’s telephone bills, especially if users take advantage of the Delayed Transmission timers to fax automatically after hours, when phone rates are lower.

As a “hub” unit, it can receive

a fax from another OKIFAX 5800 and automatically and cost-effectively relay it to all of the 209 locations you put into its directory.

Up to 200 frequently-called fax numbers can be set up as “speed dials”

—1-touch or 2 — and the directory is arranged like a phone book, so you can find the number you want easily and quickly. Twelve programmable keys let users carry out multi-step fax commands with a single touch.

The OKIFAX 5800 can also serve as a convenience copier, turning out 300 x 300 dpi copies — up to 99 from the same original.
