On-screen messages

During play, various messages will be shown on the screen for a few seconds to confirm that a function has been selected. You can switch on or off these messages in the “On Screen” setup mode of the System Setup menu.

The possible messages may appear are listed below :

PLEASE WAIT

The system is initialising.

READING

Reading the disc.

OPEN ( é )

The tray is about to open.

CLOSE ( )

The tray is about to close.

DVD

DVD disc is loaded.

MUSIC CD

Music CD is loaded.

NO VALID DISC

Wrong disc format or damaged

 

disc cannot play; disc is loaded

 

upside down or no disc is in the

 

disc tray.

INVALID REGION DISC…The disc cannot play because

 

 

the regional code is different than

 

 

the player.

PARENTAL LEVEL TOO LOW TO PLAY
