Highlighting Search Words Expanding Your Searches
You can also search for a word by high- lighting it in a verse. Try this example.
1.Go to Genesis 15:6.
To learn how, see “Finding Bible Verses.”
2.Press ENTER to start the highlight.
To turn the highlight off, press BACK.
3.Press the arrow keys to highlight righteousness.
4.Press ENTER to search for the highlighted word.
5.Hold ✩ and repeatedly press the DN key to view the next matches.
6.Press MENU to view those books with matches.
7.Press CLEAR when done.
You can expand your word searches up to three times to find inflections, synonyms, and similar words.
1.Press CLEAR.
2.Enter a word (e.g., belief).
3.Press MORE to expand the search.
4.Press MORE twice to fully expand the search.
5.Press MENU to view those books with matches.
6.Press CLEAR when done.
