Introduction

The High Power Wireless Notebook Adapter is a CardBus card that provides wireless connectivity to notebook PCs. It uses an internal amplifier to increase the radio output so that it can connect to APs/Wireless Routers further away and transfer data at range faster than traditional 802.11g CardBus cards.

Buffalo Technology recommends use with the High Power Wireless Router (WZR-HP-G54) for maximum range and performance.

An external antenna can be added to the High Power Wireless Notebook Adapter to in- crease its range and versatility. Antenna information can be found on page 24.
