The CAT5
speed communication network applications with bandwidths up to 100 MHz, including ANSI ASC X3T12
The CAT5 cables conform to ANSI/TIA/EIA
The CAT3 cables can be used to expand PBXs in office phone systems.
Each CAT5 or CAT3 cable’s core consists of 25 twisted pairs cabled together. Each pair has two 24 AWG copper conductors, twisted together with varying lays to reduce crosstalk.
