When you connect this product to a PC running Windows XP, the write cache between Windows and the MO drive is disabled in the default settings and optimum performance cannot be achieved as a result. To enable the write cache, double-click [FUJITSU MCS3130UB-S USB Device] from [Disk Drives] in the [Device Manager] window and open the [Properties] window.

Select the [Policies] tab from [FUJITSU MCS3130UB-S USB Device Properties] and click the button for [Optimize for performance].
