Procedure 2-6: Software Setup for Windows 98 - Modem Plugged In

4.A message indicates that the system finds the installation file and is ready to install the device driver; click Next.

5.A message confirms that the device driver software has been installed; click Finish.

6.The PC automatically runs the SETUP.EXE in the root directory of the installation CD. If the installation doesn’t automatically start, go to Windows Explorer ->CD-ROM Drive -> SETUP.EXE to run the setup program. A “Welcome” message is displayed; click Next.

7.Go to Procedure 2-2 Step 7, on page 2-7.
