Begin by unpacking the Insignia box. Unfold the set-up guide in a convenient spot near where you'll set up your computer. Unpack your separate monitor, accessories, peripherals, AC power cords, and cables. For example, if you plan to connect a printer, you'll need either a parallel port printer cable or USB cable, and an AC power cord.

NOTE: These cords and cables are not included with your computer, and are often not included with peripherals and accessories. Be sure to get the right cords and cables for each accessory or peripheral you add to your system.

We recommend that you use a surge protector to connect all AC Cables. A surge protector is not included with your computer. Your local Best Buy store stocks peripheral cables and cords, as well as surge protectors.
