ifconfig <interface-name> mtu <mtu-size> eg: ifconfig eth0 mtu 3000

Aftermath

Once you have successfully installed the GE 2000-N NIC you can now try to browse the internet by having an Ethernet cable connected to the NIC (computer) to your internet service provider (modem). Some people might have trouble connecting to the internet right after the installation of the card. That is because the computer requires a reboot or the user might need to disconnect the power off the modem for few minutes so the ISP can do a refresh on the user’s account. Again, the FAQ guide explains some of the most commonly asked questions. Please take advantage of our guide and if you need further assistance, please contact our tech support line or write us an e-mail regard the problem.
