36	Instalación del hardware

Conectar o desconectar los conectores E-IDE mientras la alimentación esta presente puede causar un cortocircuito que dañará el equipo. Cuando se conecten o desconecten los conectores, asegúrese de apagar la aliment- ación de antemano.

Hay algo bien importante que se debe observar antes de instalar la unidad de CD-R/RW. Se tienen que ajustar los puentes de configuración de mae- stro/esclavo. Favor examinar el panel en la parte posterior de la unidad

para ajustar los puentes de configuración de maestro/esclavo.

Antes de conectar los puentes favor asegurarse de que se ha desconectado la fuente de alimentación de la unidad de CD-R/RW y de la computadora.
