.Limited frequency range: only the channels 10 to 13 (2457 MHz, 2462 MHz, 2467 MHz or 2472 MHz) may be used in France. It is prohibited to use the device outdoors.

Wireless network cards and adapters are intended for operation in the ISM (Industrial, Scientific, Medical) frequency range between 2.4 and 2.4835 GHz in accordance with the IEEE standard 802.11b. As each of the 14 usable radio channels requires a bandwidth of 22 MHz due to the DSSS (Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum) process, a maximum of three mutually independent channels (e.g. 3, 8 and 13) are available.
