Installing the Driver Software on Windows 98SE/Me Systems

Follow these steps to install the software driver on a Windows 98SE/Me system.

1.Complete the steps described in “Connecting the USB PortaCD-RW Drive” on page 9.

Windows 98SE/Me automatically detects the drive and displays the Add New Hardware Installation Wizard (Figure 6).

2.Click the Next button.

The system displays an Add New Hardware Wizard panel that asks if you wish to search for the best driver (Figure 7).
