Installing
You can install a new fan tray in your Switch 4007R chassis while the power is on (which is referred to as hot swapping).
To install a new fan tray:
1Grasp the two handles on the fan tray and then face the rear of the chassis.
2Locate the guide pin and connector on the fan tray (Figure 4).

3Slide the fan tray into the chassis (Figure 5).
