1Connect the Male end of the VGA splitter cable to the HD15 port on the source computer.
2Connect one of the Female ends of the VGA splitter cable to the Local Unit’s HD15 port using a VGA cable.
3(Optional) Connect a local monitor to the remaining Female connector of the VGA splitter cable using a VGA cable.
4Connect the included 3.5 mm Male to DB9 Female adapter cable to the
3.5mm Female port on the local unit.
5Connect the DB9 port on the computer to the DB9 port on the adapter cable.
6Connect the external power supply to the power jack on the local unit and plug it into an appropriate power source.
7Connect the 110 Punchdown Connector on the local unit to the 110 Punchdown Connector on the remote unit using Cat5/5e/6 cable.
8Connect the HD15 port on the remote unit to a monitor.
9Connect the included 3.5 mm Male to DB9 Male adapter cable to the
3.5mm Female port on the remote unit.
10Connect the DB9 Male port on the adapter cable to the DB9 port of the serial device you are connecting
11Connect the external power supply to the power jack on the remote unit and plug it into an appropriate power source.
12Turn the display(s) on first.
13Turn on the computer.
