4.Secure the drive in the frame by continuing to close the locking arm. Gently apply pressure to the locking arm, until you hear the ‘click’ of the spring lock.
5.Optional: To lock the drive in the frame, insert the key provided into the keyhole at the front of the drive bay. Turn the key 90° to the right, and remove the key.
Removing the hard drive from the drive frame
1.If you opted to lock the drive in place, insert the key into the keyhole. Turn the key 90° to the left, and remove the key.
2.Gently, but firmly open the locking arm until it is out of the path of the hard drive removal.
3.Once the locking arm is open, slowly pull the hard drive out of the frame.
4.Return the locking arm to the secured position.
