Parental Control Password

To set your four-digit password for Parental Control, follow these steps.

While playback is stopped, press SYSTEM MENU. Press ;

1 or - to select the icon.

2 Press 9 repeatedly to select , then press :.

3 Press 9 to select PASSWORD.

4 Press : to select CHANGE, then press OK.

Press Number buttons 1, 2, 3, 4 (default password) when you

5 are asked to enter the code.

Or, press STOP C four times to restore the default password of 1-2-3-4. This may be helpful if you forget your password. Notice to Parents: You cannot reset the current Parental pass- word without choosing a new code. If a password changes and you did not alter the code, then someone has reset the code and possi- bly viewed previously blocked or restricted level material.

6 Press the Number buttons (0-9) to enter your NEW CODE number. You will have to enter the same code twice to CONFIRM CODE.

To reset the DVD Receiver to its original settings, reset the defaults.

Helpful Hint

If you forget your password and cannot restore the default pass- word, disconnect the DVD Receiver from power for a few minutes to restore the default password.
