1017, 1017S specifications

The Patton Electronic 1017S and 1017 are robust communication devices designed to provide reliable and efficient data transmission over various types of networks. These models are part of Patton's versatile line of products tailored for businesses that require seamless connectivity solutions in their operations.

One of the main features of the 1017 Series is its support for multiple interfaces, which allows for integration into diverse network environments. The 1017S variant is especially noted for its support of Serial-to-Ethernet conversions, enabling legacy serial devices to communicate over modern Ethernet networks. This makes it an excellent choice for industries that rely on older equipment but wish to enhance connectivity without investing in entirely new systems.

The 1017 model includes advanced technologies such as digital signal processing and robust error correction mechanisms. These technologies ensure that data is transmitted accurately and with minimal latency, even over challenging conditions. The units are built with an emphasis on reliability, featuring metal housings that provide durability and protection in various deployment scenarios.

Both models support a range of communication protocols, including RS-232, RS-485, and RS-422, making them highly adaptable to different operational requirements. This is crucial for organizations that utilize various protocols within their networks and need devices that can accommodate these differences seamlessly.

The configuration of the 1017S and 1017 models is user-friendly, featuring a web-based interface that simplifies setup and management. This ensures that even users with limited technical backgrounds can easily configure and maintain their devices. Additionally, the provision for firmware updates allows for ongoing enhancements and feature upgrades, protecting the investment for years to come.

Another notable characteristic of these models is their support for Power over Ethernet (PoE). This feature enables the devices to receive power through the Ethernet cable, reducing clutter and the need for additional power supplies, thus streamlining installation and maintenance processes.

In conclusion, the Patton Electronic 1017S and 1017 models are reliable communication devices that provide essential features for modern networking needs. With their multiple interface support, advanced technology integration, user-friendly configurations, and PoE capability, they stand out as strong contenders for businesses looking to enhance their data communication strategies.
