Thank you for purchasing a Tour Series 215s or 215sc Professional Subwoofer from Fender Pro Audio. We are sure you will find it both a unique and effective sound reinforcement product, providing years of trouble-free service.

Designed for the most demanding concert sound and sound contracting requirements, the cabinet’s multiple cavities and internal wood bracing helps eliminate side wall movement. This design results in low distortion, very high power handling and very high SPL output. Likewise, large ports on the 215s and 215sc cabinets prevent compression at high SPL due to large exit velocities.

After moisture sealing, the 215s cabinet is painted with a environmentally friendly tough black finish for longer life and lasting looks. The 215sc is covered in a rugged black carpet with the addition of metal cor- ners and feet. Also, a pole mount adapter is avail- able for placing a mid or high range enclosure over the 215s or 215sc.

-Only use Fender Mounting Pole (P/N 071-1359- 000) to support the full range cabinets.

CAUTION:

-Almost all speakers produce strong magnetic fields which may interfere with the normal operation of nearby electronic devices, includ- ing televisions and computer video monitors. To reduce or eliminate interference, increase the distance between this product and other nearby electronic devices.

215SC, 215S specifications

The Fender 215S and 215SC are integral parts of the iconic Fender acoustic guitar lineup, representing a synthesis of traditional craftsmanship with modern technology. These models are a testament to Fender's commitment to delivering high-quality instruments for guitarists of all levels, from amateurs to professionals.

The Fender 215S features a solid Sitka spruce top, known for its excellent projection and balanced tone. The back and sides are made from mahogany, which contributes warmth and depth to the overall sound. This combination of woods results in a guitar that is both versatile and rich in character, making it suitable for various genres, from folk and country to rock and blues.

In contrast, the 215SC model introduces the convenience of onboard electronics, making it an ideal choice for performing musicians. The built-in Fishman Presys pickup system includes a sonic enhancing preamp and a built-in tuner. This feature allows for easy amplification while maintaining the guitar's natural tone. The Fishman system captures the nuances of the guitar's acoustic sound, ensuring that players can deliver a powerful performance on stage or in a studio setting.

Both models share several key features, including a 20-fret mahogany neck with a comfortable slim profile, making it easy to play for extended periods. The fingerboard is adorned with dot inlays, and the overall craftsmanship showcases Fender's attention to detail. The guitars also sport a classic dreadnought body shape, providing a robust sound projection and resonant bass response.

One of the striking aspects of the Fender 215S and 215SC is their aesthetics. The glossy finish highlights the natural beauty of the wood grain, while the traditional rosette adds an element of elegance. They come equipped with durable Fender tuning machines, ensuring stable tuning and intonation throughout performances.

Additionally, both models feature a double-action truss rod, allowing for easy neck adjustments over time, providing longevity and playability in different climates. The instruments are built with a sturdy construction, ensuring they can withstand the rigors of frequent travel and performance.

In summary, the Fender 215S and 215SC combine traditional craftsmanship with modern technology, offering exceptional sound quality and playability. Whether choosing the classic 215S for its pure acoustic performance or the versatile 215SC with its built-in electronics, players can expect a reliable instrument that enhances their musical journey.
