Windows NT Quick Start

This chapter shows you the step-by-step instructions to configure your Windows NT workstations for Internet access.

4.1TCP/IP Installation

You must first install TCP/IP protocol on each Windows NT workstation before you can use it to access the Internet. If you have already installed TCP/IP, skip to the TCP/IP Configuration section on page 15; otherwise, follow these steps:

Step 1. From the Start Menu, select Settings then open Control Panel.

Step 2. Double -click the Network icon to open the Network control panel.

Step 3. Select the Protocols tab, then click the Add… button.
