6.“Netware,” “AppleTalk,” “SNMP” and “Advanced” are other protocols in which you may configure your Print Server. Clicking these buttons at the Configura- tion window will lead you to these particular configurations. The selection of the protocols is based upon the type of the printers, for instance, some postscript printers use Appletalk. You may need to contact the printer manufacturer if you are not certain about the protocol of that particular printer.
7. The “Advanced” window is designed to control the speed of the parallel port only; this option would not affect the performance of the USB print servers.
