SETTING

Power management

This function turns the Projection Lamp off when the projector detects signal interruption and the projector is not used for a certain period in order to reduce power consumption and maintain the Lamp- life. (This projector is shipped with this function ON.)

Power Management function operates to turn the Projection Lamp off when the input signal is interrupted and the projector is not operated over 5 minutes. This function operates as follows;

1.When the signal is interrupted, “No signal” and the counting down (5 minutes) display appears.

2.When the Projection Lamp turned off, the READY indicator turns off. The Cooling Fans operate for 90 seconds after the Projection Lamp is turned off. (During this "Cooling Down" period, the Lamp cannot be turned on.)

3.When the Lamp has cooled down, the READY indicator flashes and the Lamp can be turned on again (Power Management mode).

In this Power Management mode, the Projection Lamp is automatically turned on when the input signal connected or the projector is operated with any button on the Top Control or the Remote Control.

Lamp age

The Lamp age function is designed to reset the lamp replacement monitor timer. When replacing the lamp, reset the lamp replacement monitor timer by using this function. (Refer to page 36.)

SELECTING LANGUAGE

The language used in the ON-SCREEN MENU is selectable from among English, German, French, Italian, Spanish and Japanese.

Press the MENU button and the ON-SCREEN MENU will

appear.

Press POINT LEFT/RIGHT buttons to select

 

LANGUAGE and press the SELECT button. Another dialog box

 

LANGUAGE MENU will appear.

Press the POINT DOWN button and a red-arrow icon will

appear.

Move the arrow to the language that you want to set,

and then press the SELECT button.

Move the Pointer to the language that you want to set, and then press the SELECT button.
