MP4800 specifications

The Compaq MP4800 is a notable model in the landscape of portable multimedia projectors. Launched in the early 2000s, it distinguished itself with a combination of versatility, performance, and robust design aimed specifically at business presentations and educational environments.

One of the key features of the Compaq MP4800 is its impressive brightness, rated at around 2000 ANSI lumens. This level of brightness allows the projector to perform well in various lighting conditions, making it an excellent choice for conference rooms or classrooms. Additionally, the projector boasts a native resolution of 1024 x 768 (XGA), enabling sharp and clear image quality for both text and graphics.

The MP4800 incorporates advanced DLP (Digital Light Processing) technology, which provides superior color accuracy and contrast compared to older display technologies. Users find that colors appear vibrant and lifelike, enhancing the overall viewing experience. The DLP chip also reduces the chances of the "rainbow effect," a common issue with older single-chip projectors.

Connectivity is another strong suit of the Compaq MP4800. It includes a variety of input options, such as VGA, composite video, S-video, and even audio inputs, making it easy to connect to laptops, DVD players, and other multimedia devices. This versatility ensures that users can utilize the projector across a range of platforms.

Ease of use is prioritized in the design of the MP4800. It features a user-friendly interface, with intuitive controls that allow users to quickly adjust settings and troubleshoot issues. The projector is designed for portability, weighing around 5.5 pounds, which allows for easy transport between meeting rooms or to off-site locations.

In terms of durability and maintenance, the Compaq MP4800 features a long-lasting lamp life of approximately 2000 to 3000 hours, depending on usage mode. This results in reduced maintenance costs and less frequent lamp replacements, providing users with more extended periods of uninterrupted use.

Overall, the Compaq MP4800 brings a well-rounded package for those who need a reliable and effective multimedia projector. With its solid brightness, excellent image quality, versatile connectivity options, and ease of use, it remains a respected choice in environments where quality presentations are essential.
