PB7230 specifications

The BenQ PB7230 is a versatile and highly regarded projector that caters to both business and home entertainment needs. With its comprehensive array of features, it stands out in a crowded market for projectors designed for presentations and casual viewing.

One of the stand-out characteristics of the BenQ PB7230 is its impressive brightness level. With a specification of 3,000 ANSI lumens, it excels in delivering vivid images even in well-lit environments. This makes it an ideal choice for conference rooms and classrooms, where ambient light can often diminish the quality of visuals. Coupled with a contrast ratio of 2000:1, it ensures deep blacks and vibrant colors, which enhances the overall image quality.

Resolution is another critical aspect where the PB7230 shines. It supports a native XGA resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels, which is adequate for a variety of content types, whether it be text-heavy presentations or graphic-rich videos. Additionally, it is capable of scaling up to higher resolutions, making it adaptable to different input sources.

The PB7230 features BenQ's proprietary SmartEco technology, which allows for energy-efficient operation by dynamically adjusting lamp brightness according to the content being displayed. This not only extends the lifespan of the lamp to an impressive 4,500 hours but also reduces power consumption, making it an environmentally friendly choice for users who are conscious of their carbon footprint.

Connectivity options are abundant with the BenQ PB7230. It comes equipped with multiple ports, including HDMI, VGA, and USB, allowing users to connect a wide range of devices such as laptops, streaming devices, and DVD players. In addition, its built-in 2-watt speaker provides adequate sound quality for smaller settings, though external audio solutions can easily be integrated for larger venues.

Portability is another factor that enhances the appeal of the PB7230. Weighing around 2.5 kg, it is lightweight and easy to transport, making it suitable for professionals who need to present on the go. The easy setup process further adds to its user-friendly design, allowing for quick adjustments to focus and zoom features.

In summary, the BenQ PB7230 is a robust and adaptable projector that combines high brightness, energy efficiency, and solid connectivity features. Its blend of technologies and characteristics makes it an excellent investment for anyone looking to enhance their visual experience, be it in a business setting or at home.
