Deactivating devices allows users who have activated all the available devices through the web server and are blocked from activating more devices. DivX VOD allows the consumer to activate up to 6 devices under one account, but to replace or deactivate any of those devices, the consumer needs to contact DivX Support and request deletion. With this added feature, consumers will be able to deactivate the device themselves and manage their DivX VOD devices better.
