Turning off the light on the display

Pressing the DISPLAY button turns on/off the light on the display of the unit. This button is disabled in Stereo mode.

Note on adjusting the balance:

In Virtual Surround mode, set the balance in the center position and do not adjust it. Shifting the sound in this mode may impair the Virtual Surround effect.

The PHC-5 remembers the balance setting in Stereo mode after you turn off the power to the unit. However, if you change to Virtual Surround mode, the balance setting is automatically reset to the center. Also, any balance setting made in Virtual Surround mode will be reset to the center after you turn off the power to the unit.
