1A & B speaker indicators (20, 40)

Indicator A lights up when speaker set A is on. Indi- cator B lights up when speaker set B is on.

2MUTING indicator (47)

This indicator flashes when the AV receiver is muted.

3Source/listening mode indicators (50, 57)

These indicators show the currently selected listen- ing mode and digital audio format.

4Tuning indicators

TUNED (42): This indicator lights up when the AV receiver is tuned to a radio station.

AUTO (42): This indicator lights up when Auto Tuning is selected and disappears when Manual Tuning is selected.

MEMORY (43): This indicator lights up when pre- setting radio stations.

FM STEREO (42): This indicator lights up when the AV receiver is tuned to a stereo FM station.

5SLEEP indicator (47)

This indicator lights up when the Sleep function has been set.

6Message area

This area of the display shows various information about the currently selected source.
