A–B Repeat Playback

With the A–B Repeat Playback function you can play a spec- ified section over-and-over again.

During playback, press the [A–B]

Notes:

A–B Repeat Playback may not work with some DVD-Video discs and PBC Video CDs.

In some cases, the A and B points may be at slightly differ- ent points to the ones you specified.

If you select a different camera angle during A–B repeat playback, the original camera angle will be selected when playback restarts from the A point.

Random Playback

With the Random Playback function you can enjoy a random selection of discs, titles, chapters, tracks, or MP3/WMA folders.

The available options depend on the cur-

 

rent disc type, as follows:

 

DVD-Video:Title, 1 Disc, All Disc.

 

Video CD/audio CD: 1 Disc, All Disc.

 

MP3/WMA: Folder, 1 Disc, All Disc

 

(files in subfolders are not played).

 

With the “Title” option, chapters within

 

the current title are played at random.

 

With the “1 Disc” option, all titles, chap-

 

ters, tracks, and folders on the current disc

 

are played at random.

 

If you press the [RANDOM] button dur-

 

ing playback, random playback begins

 

after the current disc, title, chapter, track,

 

or MP3/WMA folder has finished.

Press the Play [ ] button to start

Notes:

To select the next random disc, title, chapter, track, or MP3/WMA folder during random playback, press the Next [ ] button.

Random playback may not work with some DVD-Video discs.

With PBC Video CDs, you can’t use this function. Cancel PBC playback first, and then set this function.

Random playback cannot be used with the Memory Play- back function.

You can’t use the [SEARCH] button during random play- back.

During random playback, the remote controller’s naviga- tion [], [ ], [], [ ] buttons don’t work in the Disc Nav- igator.

If you select another disc, random playback is cancelled, except when the random option is set to “All Disc,” in which case playback continues.
